ThinkPad L Series

Lenovo ThinkPad L410 and L510

“ThinkPad L Series”
By Eli Turner

Man, the R series is gone

No It’s not
It’s back with a new name and design
The R series is now the L series

Sometimes, change is good
And in this case
That’s very true
You’re probably wondering why
I’ll tell you why
So listen up

The L series is less expensive than the R series
It has better system memory so you can do more stuff
It has more hard drive space so you can store more data
Overall performance is up 154% over the “old” R series
It’s been re-vamped with new mainstream productivity features
And you’ll have these kind of features on a laptop that shows that you mean business
These are all user experience and system usability enhancements
Along with being 10% thinner and lighter
Overall, you’ll get value-based computing while balancing reliability, performance, and portability

The new R series has strengthened environmental leadership
Energy Star 5.0 over Energy Star 4.0
An EPEAT Gold rating instead of an EPEAT Silver rating
For all of you who don’t think the L series is a “real” ThinkPad
And that the R series isn’t like it used to be
Think again
The L series is staying true to the ThinkPad brand
Piece-of-mind features
Think quality
Passed MilSpec tests
Hinges now made of zinc alloy
Wider for even greater strength
That’s the new R series

The new ThinkPad L series
That’s my other ThinkPad
Think performance
Think productivity
Think green
There’s more thinking on a ThinkPad

This has been a Public Service Announcement from Eli Turner and Lenovo
